Michael Lance Ritter earned a BA in Liberal Arts/Theatre and a Master's degree in history at Sonoma State University. He was a San Diego Fellow in the PhD history program at the University of California, San Diego. His bio includes being a screenwriter, author, editor, teacher, parent, coach, and entrepreneur.

Michael is a member of the Int'l. Screenwriters' Asso., Western Writers of America, Cherokee Nation, Western History Association, Robinson Jeffers Association and the Association for the Study of Literature & the Environment.

 

He has lived in Oklahoma, Colorado, San Francisco, the Sierra gold country and now the Sonoma County, CA wine country.
